Cefn Park, Wrexham, North Wales

Once the home of Sir Roger Palmer, who rode in the Charge of the Light Brigade at Balaclava in 1854, Cefn Park is a family run estate on the edge of Wrexham, North Wales.

Originally built in 1730, Cefn Park has been home to the Palmers for nearly  200 years, it has changed with the times, suffering substantial fire damage in 1794 and was extended extensively during the Victorian period.

The house today continues to be a family home and is embarking on a new stage of life as it opens to the public following the restoration of the original Victorian Kitchen.
